Welcome to the Oklahoma City Metro On-line Farmers Market.

Our Mission

The Oklahoma City Metro Internet Farmers Market was developed to allow the citizens of the Oklahoma City Metro to have the freshest, highest quality produce, eggs, meat and other traditional items from local farmers. All member growers strive to use sustainable agriculture practices to ensure the longevity of agriculture in the area. Member Growers produce some of the highest quality vegetables, herbs, dairy, eggs, meats, fruits, flowers and transplants in the area. The farms on this market range in size and specialty with certified organic, certified all natural, no pesticide and conventionally grown produce all clearly identified.

While not a true cooperative, Oklahoma City Metro On-line Farmers Market uses cooperative efforts of members, farmers, and artisans to achieve steady and dependable means of supplying the highest quality products. We hope that over time you will find that most, if not all of your grocery needs can be found on this market (at least what is in season at the time).

The other convenience of this program is the ability to know what is going to be available before you start making your menu choices for the week. The On-line market will be open from Sunday evening at 6:00 PM and will close on Tuesday at 9:00 PM. This will allow for the farmers to pick the orders on Thursday and Friday. Your orders need to be picked up from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday’s at the OSU-OKC Farmers Market at 401 N. Portland.

Why Support Locally Grown?

Enhance local economy: By purchasing produce and other items from local growers you are providing stability to your local economy through the support of local businesses.

Save natural resources: Buying locally make you an invaluable link in the process of saving resources such as fossil fuels and packaging materials. Also, we are right here in your community so the expense of transportation and deliver is kept to a minimum.

Providing learning opportunities: Locally Grown supporters provide member growers the means to help educate our community about the importance of sustainable agriculture.

Supporting a way of life: The number of small farms in the United States has decreased dramatically in the last twenty years. Please help us preserve an honest and worthy means of making a living.

We believe that small, diverse, family-owned and operated farms contribute to society’s overall health.
